Joseph's Legacy asks for help funding injured kitten's surgery

Posted

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Joseph’s Legacy animal rescue requested the public’s help Wednesday night funding surgery for a kitten who was thrown from a moving car.

The animal rescue wrote that Hope, a gray tabby kitten, needed the help of an orthopedic surgeon to recover from injuries to her right hind leg. The surgery had already been performed by Wednesday, but her rescuer was $700 short of being able to pay the $2,800 bill.

"She is the sweetest little thing and so small," Joseph’s Legacy wrote on Facebook.

The person who threw Hope from the car had not been located at the time of the Facebook post.
