MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — Middletown Police responded to the intersection of Verity Parkway and Carmody Boulevard Sunday, after reports of a dead body floating in a pond.
The body of a male was located in the drainage reservoir near that intersection.
On Monday, Middletown Police identified the body as Steven Baker, who police said had been missing since Jan. 3.
In a statement, police said they are still waiting for a coroner's report to rule out foul play, but that the death does not immediately seem suspicious.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Detective McDonald at 513-425-7745.
