HAMILTON, Ohio — Hamilton Police have arrested and charged a man accused of raping two women in August 2020 and September 2019.
According to a police report and affidavit, Taranpreet Singh pulled one of the victims by the hair into his vehicle, drove her at gunpoint to another location before raping her and robbing her on Aug. 23, 2020.
Another victim told police that Singh offered her a ride on Sept. 5, 2019 from the Circle K on Pleasant Avenue. Singh took the victim to an unknown building on East Avenue, dragged her into the building by her hair and raped her, according to the police report.
Singh, 30, was arrested Thursday night and charged with two counts of rape, one count of aggravated robbery and one count of kidnapping. He is currently lodged in the Butler County Jail.
