Madison Schools were hit with a water main break that shut down classes today and also news its high school students will have to start learning remotely due to an administrator testing positive for the coronavirus.
All after-school activities are canceled today, said officials.
“Madison Local Schools will be dismissing students and closing early today due to a water main break on the road by the school,” district officials posted on the school system’s website.
“All schools are without water for drinking, restrooms, etc. for an expected 6-8 hours,” they said.
And Superintendent Lisa Tuttle-Huff also sent out a notice to school parents about a precautionary shutdown of all high school classes due to required quarantining of some high school teachers and administrators on the K-12 campus.
