MT. ORAB, Ohio — A Mt. Orab bar was cited over the weekend for continuing to serve patrons alcohol past the state's 10:00 p.m. curfew, according to the Ohio Investigative Unit, the unit charged with enforcing the state’s liquor laws.

Officials said the permit holder for The Bar, on S. High Street in Mt. Orab, unlocked the front door and allowed a group of both patrons and OIU agents to enter at 10:50 p.m.

Once inside, agents saw roughly 40 other patrons inside, with the bar continuing to fully operate, a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said. Agents, assisted by the Mt. Orab Police Department, cited the bar for improper conduct -- disorderly activity.
