GEORGETOWN, Ohio — Brown County Sheriff's deputies were called to the Rumpke Electric Generating Station in Georgetown around 8 a.m. Tuesday after a man died from an accidental electrocution.
Police said the man, 25-year-old Jory Vaness from Hudsonville, MI, was working on emissions testing equipment in the high lift when he accidentally swung the lift into live power lines.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident, with the assistance of the Georgetown Fire and Police Departments. OSHA and Rumpke are also investigating.
