MOUNT ORAB, Ohio -- One person died in a house fire early Thursday morning, according to the Mount Orab Fire Department.
Crews responded at about 4:13 a.m. to a home an E. Main Street, officials said. First responders found one person dead in the home and a small fire that had started in the kitchen, fire officials said.
The Brown County Coroner's office and the Ohio State Fire Marshal's office were on scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The victim’s identity and cause of death has not yet been released.
