CROSSTOWN, Ohio – A bicyclist found dead in a creek in Brown County has been identified.
Timothy Woods, 44, of nearby Williamsburg, was riding on Bloomrose Road, above Fourmile Creek, sometime after 1 a.m. Monday when he struck a guard rail and fell into the creek, officials said.
Chopper 9, the only local helicopter getting you breaking news first, was over the scene Monday afternoon after a passerby spotted Woods' body and bicycle in the creek.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
