BOONE COUNTY, Ky. -- A suspect is in custody after leading police on a multi-state chase Tuesday morning, according to a police officer on scene.
Nathanael Druggan, of Lexington, originally fled from officers in Scott County, Kentucky, according to Fort Mitchell Police Chief Andrew Schierberg. No one was hurt. There’s no information yet on how the chase started.
At one point, the chase went into Cincinnati and then back into Kentucky. Police stopped Druggan by deploying stop sticks on southbound Interstate 71/75 in Boone County near Burlington Pike. Authorities closed the interstate until about 4:30 a.m.
Druggan is being charged with wanton endangerment of a police officer in Scott County. Schierberg said Druggan will likely face a charge in Kenton County related to fleeing.
Druggan is being held at the Scott County Jail.
