FLORENCE, Ky. -- Single parents, veterans and families in need in Northern Kentucky will catch a break Thursday.
Thursday is ACDelco's second annual National Day of Service, during which car repair shops around the country will provide free services for families in need.
In Florence, Glenway Auto Center in Florence will provide $5,000 of free repairs to financially strapped families, the auto shop said. The repairs include new tire rods, new brakes, and heating and air conditioning maintenance.
The repair recipients have already been determined, Glenway Auto Center said.
