ADAMS COUNTY, Ohio — Phone service was restored to the Adams County Sheriff Office just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Earlier in the day, the Adams County Sheriff Office’s phone systems, including 911 services, were rerouted to Brown County's Dispatch.
Brown County dispatchers communicated with Adams County dispatchers, and Adams County first responders still responded to emergencies in the county.
