SPRIGG TOWNSHIP, Ohio — OSP is investigating a crash that left one woman dead in Adams County early Sunday.
Investigators said 24-year-old Chelsea Miller was riding on the back of a motorcycle traveling west down US-52 near Owl Hollow Road in Sprigg Township around 1:45 a.m. when the driver lost control of the motorcycle and drove into a ditch. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported by UC Aircare to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The driver was wearing a helmet, Miller was not.
The crash remains under investigation by OSP.
