MANCHESTER, Ohio — Recovery crews have found the body of the last remaining worker buried in a building collapse at Killen Generating Station in Adams County nearly a month ago, the firm responsible for the demolition announced Friday.

Jamie Fitzgerald was working with four other men as part of a demolition crew inside the retired Manchester power station when it collapsed the morning of Dec. 9. First responders rescued three of the men that day, and they were hospitalized in stable condition. Days later, crews recovered the body of the fourth, Clyde Douglas Gray.

On Dec. 11, more than two days after a building collapsed at Killen Generating Station near Manchester, Ohio, crews were still searching for demolition workers Jamie Fitzgerald (left) and Doug Gray (right).

The Adamo Group released this statement early Friday afternoon, after Fitzgerald's family had been notified:

"The loved ones and immediate family of Jamie Fitzgerald have been notified that he has been located at the Killen Generating Station site in Adams County, Ohio. First responders and federal officials have also been notified. Crews from the Adamo Group are currently working to safely recover him. More information will be announced as it becomes available."
