CINCINNATI — Although he declared for the NBA draft in April, 2019 All-American Conference Player of the Year Jarron Cumberland will once again don a University of Cincinnati Bearcats jersey this fall.
UC’s official men's basketball program tweeted the news Monday afternoon:

Cumberland, a 21-year-old Wilmington native, became the Bearcats’ No. 1 scorer and led the team to its second American Athletic Conference Tournament in the 2018-2019 season while averaging 18.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
However, he had dropped off ESPN’s draft projections by the day UC announced he would return for the 2019-2020 season.
