CINCINNATI — A car traveling the wrong way down Central Avenue struck a horse-drawn carriage Thursday night and fled, leaving both horse and driver injured.
Neither set of injuries was life-threatening, according to police. The carriage driver was transported from the scene to have a hand injury examined.
Police said the horse, Doc, would need to be examined by a veterinarian.
At the scene, police lights reflected off patches of blood on on Doc's chest and legs.
