CINCINNATI — One woman was shot and killed in Winton Hills Wednesday evening, according to police.
Officers with the Cincinnati Police Department responded to the 800 block of Dutch Colony Drive around 7 p.m. for reports of a person who was shot. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 25-year-old Sharde Tarpley suffering from a gunshot wound.
First responders took Tarpley to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating this incident, and officers have not said if there is a suspect at this time.
