SALEM TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Warren County man convicted of sexually abusing a young girl will spend 15 years in prison, Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell announced Tuesday afternoon.
Fabian Esparza-Tapia, 35, pled guilty to rape, gross sexual imposition, sexual battery and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. According to prosecutors, Esparza-Tapia abused the girl for three years before a third party discovered nude images of the victim on her iPad in 2020.
The victim, who was under 13 when the abuse began, said Esparza-Tapia had instructed her to take the pictures and send them to him.
In addition to his prison sentence, Esparza-Tapia has been registered as a sex offender.
