CINCINNATI — U.S. Marshals in Cincinnati arrested a fugitive wanted on charges related to a double homicide in Philadelphia.
Richard Roane, 22, is accused of fatally shooting two people on July 8, U.S. Marshals said in a news release. WPVI in Philadelphia reported the victims were engaged to each other.
Philadelphia police identified Roane as the suspect in the case and obtained a warrant for his arrest on murder charges.
U.S. Marshals learned that Roane was in Cincinnati. They found him in a West End residence Monday afternoon.
Roane is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center pending extradition back to Pennsylvania.
