Two men on Tuesday pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at a Mason motel and posting evidence of the attack on Snapchat.

Alexander Wood and Quentin Smith will both spend years in prison and be required to register as sex offenders.

Wood, who pleaded guilty to sexual battery and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, will serve four years and remain registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Smith pleaded guilty only to pandering sexual material with a minor and will serve between two and three years. His plea requires him to register as a sex offender for 25 years.

A third attacker, Dominic Cboins, pleaded guilty to sexual battery Feb. 13 and received a sentence of three years in prison. Like Wood, he will remain a sex offender for the rest of his life.

According to prosecutors, the trio raped the 17-year-old victim while she was overly intoxicated and unconscious after a night of partying at Mason Inn Motel.

Sgt. Brian Hounshell of the Warren County Sheriff's Office said they may have felt a false sense of security about recording the incident and posting it on Snapchat, where story posts disappear after 24 hours.

"We have ways that we can get the Snapchat videos," he said.
