SOUTH LEBANON, Ohio -- Deputies have charged two people with murder in connection to a woman found dead in a West Broadway home.
Deputies were called at about 11 p.m. Friday to help South Lebanon police with a man who was bleeding, sheriff's Lt. John Faine said.
The man remained in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center as of Monday afternoon.
Investigators found a second female victim during a search of the home, Faine said. That woman was deceased.
Deputies arrested Christopher G. Kirby, 38, and Jacqueline R. Kirby, 30, and charged them each with murder, attempted murder, aggravated robbery and receiving stolen property, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies determined Christopher and Jacqueline Kirby also lived at the residence.
Officials haven't yet said what happened, but they said neighbors have no reason to fear for their safety.
The sheriff's crime scene unit remained at the home Saturday morning. Some officials were wearing hazmat suits.
The intersection of Broadway and Main was closed much of Saturday morning.
Both Christopher and Jacqueline Kirby are scheduled to be arraigned at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies asked that anyone with information contact the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Section at 513-695-2525.
