HAMILTON, Ohio -- A Hamilton Municipal Court judge ordered an 18-year-old man, charged in the shooting death of a 13-year-old boy, be held on a $2 million bond Tuesday.
The suspect, Miquan Hubbard, was arrested Saturday and charged with murder in connection to the teen's death in Hamilton, according to Chief of Police Craig Bucheit.
Bucheit, posting on Twitter, thanked the community for responding to his pleas for help in first identifying a suspect and then finding Hubbard.

Earlier in the day, Bucheit announced a warrant for Hubbard in the shooting death of Jarius Gilbert Jr.

Gilbert died and another teen was hospitalized in a shooting on Aug. 29, according to police. The shooting occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on South Front Street.
Gilbert was an eighth grader at Wilson Middle School.
A preliminary hearing for Hubbard is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Friday.
