CINCINNATI -- The victim of a West End shooting died Monday night.
The shooting happened at about 7:35 p.m. on Colerain Avenue near Garden Street, according to police.
Responding officers found 25-year-old Thomas Rainey in the middle of the street. Firefighters drove him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but Rainey died at the hospital.
The Homicide Unit is investigating, but there is no suspect information to release as of Tuesday morning. Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
