CINCINNATI -- Police are still looking for the man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend this weekend, but warn that he's armed and dangerous.

Marquez Holimon

The kidnapping was first reported as an abduction by gunpoint at about 5 p.m. Sunday on Hillside Avenue in Riverside. The suspect fired two shots as he was taking the victim, Lt. Steve Saunders said.

Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Marquez Holimon. He is 5'10" and 160 pounds. Police consider Holimon to be "armed and dangerous." Cincinnati police said Holimon is the victim's ex-boyfriend.

Holimon is facing charges of kidnapping and felonious assault.

There was no immediate word on his whereabouts after the victim drove home in the minivan sought by police at about 8 p.m.

"They were able to confirm that they were driving around until they were able to see it on the news," Sgt. Lakisha Gross said. "She won't advise us where he got out, only that she was able to return."

Surveillance video shows Holimon arriving, assaulting the victim multiple times, firing a gun and forcing her into the minivan, according to Gross.

"There were numerous minor children out during this time," she said. "As far as we know, he still has the weapon on him at this time."

Police were still searching for Holimon. They asked anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
