CINCINNATI -- Police arrested a suspect Friday in the shooting death of a Millvale resident last week.
Austin Duncan, 19, is facing charges in the death of 50-year-old Ralph Whitehead.
Police found Whitehead suffering from a gunshot wound at about 6:33 a.m. on July 26 in the 2300 block of Millvale Circle. Family members said Whitehead was killed just a few doors down from his childhood home.
"I can't understand why," Whitehead's friend and ex-partner Dorthea Harris said. "They just took my babies' daddy away."
Police didn't specify what charges Duncan is facing. Court documents weren't immediately available.
