CINCINNATI — One man is dead after a shooting in Westwood, police said.

According to a press release from Cincinnati police, officers responded to a shooting in the 2800 block of Harrison Avenue in Westwood shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday evening.

When first responders arrived, they discovered 35-year-old Jamar Higgs suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect was last seen in a gray pickup truck.

Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
