CINCINNATI — A man suspected of killing an 18-year-old in Bond Hill on Oct. 23 was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Oct. 30, according to police.

Gary Eubanks Jr., 25, was suspected of killing 18-year-old Baylee Wall in Bond Hill last week. Officers found Wall's body in a lot behind Woodward High School on Oct. 23 while responding to a report of shots fired.

"The Homicide Unit investigation has determined that Mr. Eubanks was responsible for the death of Ms. Wall," according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters told WCPO that after Wall's death, Eubanks drove to Milwaukee to stay with another woman. The woman found Eubanks' gun and, after searching for Wall on the internet, reported Eubanks to police. Police found Eubanks' body Thursday following a SWAT standoff.

According to the Cincinnati Police Department, Eubanks was found thanks to a "coordinated effort" by Cincinnati Police, Milwaukee Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

Alabama police said Wall and Eubanks robbed the Microtel Inn on Highway 98 in Daphne, Alabama on Oct. 21.

After this discovery, Wall's homicide case has been closed, according to Deters.
