CINCINNATI -- Someone shot and killed a man in East Price Hill Monday night, according to Sgt. Jeff Gramke.
Officers found Jamel Sechrest, 32, suffering from a gunshot wound at about 10:31 p.m. at 3723 Wieman Avenue. Police on scene said the house is an at-home daycare. Four children were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured.
First responders transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later died. Suspect information has not yet been released.
The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
