COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A man was shot dead in a home invasion on Saturday, according to Colerain Township police spokesman Jim Love.
Someone broke into a home in the 5000 block of Airymeadows Drive at about 11:30 p.m. and shot 22-year-old Shawn Green, Love said.
First responders transported Green to Mercy Fairfield. He was then airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died on Sunday morning.
“Colerain Police are confident that it was a targeted situation and are continuing to investigate,” Love said.
