BLUE ASH, Ohio — A judge on Monday issued a $2 million bond for a business owner accused of drugging and raping multiple women.

Gene Jackson, the owner of The Crystal Guy, faces rape and gross sexual imposition charges, according to court documents. A Hamilton County grand jury indicted the 61-year-old on Friday.

A prosecutor said more victims have come forward since Jackson has been indicted, and a grand jury will have to determine whether he will be indicted on additional charges.

Four women reported unwanted sexual contact as a result of "healing sessions" Jackson conducted, court documents say.

One of the victims said she lost consciousness during a session after she drank tea Jackson gave her, according to Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters. Another woman also reported losing consciousness during her session.

In one case, a woman woke up without clothes on, Deters said, and another woman reported waking up while she was being raped.

The first case investigators are aware of happened in 2005, but Deters said he believes there are more victims.

“I’m sure — I’m quite sure — there are other victims out there,” Deters said. “It’s very strange that we’d ever get him the first time, and he wouldn’t have stopped if he wasn’t arrested.”

Deters said investigators believe Jackson is still operating his business.

“This indictment contains disturbing allegations against Jackson who purported to operate a legitimate business but used that as a cover to sexually assault women,” Deters said.

If convicted, Jackson could face up to 30 years in prison.

Anyone with information on this case or anyone who is a victim should contact Blue Ash Police Detective Jeff Lewis at 513-745-8555.

Editor’s note: Jackson appeared on a May 22, 2019 episode of Cincy Lifestyle.
