Shooting victim crashes trying to drive home after Bond Hill attack

CINCINNATI — A man who attempted to drive home after being shot at a Bond Hill corner store Tuesday night didn't make it far. He crashed his car into a Compton Road mailbox and had to be taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to police Capt. David Fink.

The victim was shot around 9 p.m. inside Bond Hill Quick-Stop near the intersection of Reading Road and California Avenue, Fink said.

Police did not immediately release any information about a possible suspect.
