MASON, Ohio — The two officers in the photo look friendly, but Mason police warn residents not to accept an AirDrop photo which they are calling an AirDrop text scam.
The fraudulent request reads, “Mason Police Department would like to share a photo.” Police say not to respond to the request.

AirDrop allows Apple users to wirelessly share photos, videos, documents and websites.
Anyone who has been targeted is asked to contact the Mason Police Department at 513-229-8560.
