MANCHESTER, Ohio — A volunteer firefighter stands charged with felony arson after a Sunday night fire on a remote Adams County road.
Dakotah Mingee, 19, was charged Monday in Adams County court. According to court documents, he started the fire Sunday night on Island Creek Road.
He posted bond shortly after his Monday arrest.
Manchester assistant fire chief Lonnie Bilyeu confirmed Mingee was a volunteer firefighter with his department but declined to comment on his arrest.
Mingee will appear in court Oct. 7.
