SHARONVILLE, Ohio -- A 27-year-old father has been arrested and charged with murder after his 7-month-old son suffered a fractured skull, according to police.
Police say Joshua Mounts was caring for the boy on Jan. 25 when the child suffered blunt force trauma that caused his death.
Here's a transcript of a 911 call released by police:
Caller: "I have a 6-month-old. He just quit breathing. I don't know what to do."
911: "OK, he's not breathing?"
Caller: "No, what should I do?"
911: "All right, I have the ambulance being dispatched, OK? What's your name?"
Caller: "I'm his father. I'm Joshua Mounts."
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.
Mounts is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
