CINCINNATI — Authorities identified the man who was shot dead in the parking lot of an apartment building Monday morning.
Cincinnati police said they found 19-year-old Devon Procter in the parking lot of 2508 Auburn Ave. at about 5 a.m. The apartment building is located near Christ Hospital in Mount Auburn.
Shot Spotter alerted authorities of a shooting at about 4 a.m., but first responders could not find a victim, according to a detective at the scene. Police received a second call later on.
Authorities have not yet released any suspect information.
The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating, and anyone with information should call 513-352-3542.
