LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. -- The family of a former Elder High School basketball star is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of his killer.

Thomas Biedenharn, 73, was found dead on Memorial Day in his Hidden Valley home. The autopsy revealed he was a victim of homicide, according to Indiana State Police.

Authorities are still working to identify a suspect. Investigators believe that more than one person was present with Biedenharn, and a newer model "electric or bright blue" four-door extended cab truck was seen nearby around the time of the crime.

Indiana State Police asked anyone with information to call their tip line at 877-477-1847.
