CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati police have made an arrest in the death of a man whose body was found near a wrecked car last week.
Cordero Lane, 22, was arrested Monday and charged with murder, according to the Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit. Lane is suspected of killing Jydale Keith, 20, on Friday.
Cincinnati Police Lt. Steve Saunders said officers originally responded to reports of a traffic crash in the area of Beekman and Hopple streets.
When officers arrived and did not find the car, later identified by police as a black Nissan sedan, they investigated and later found the car and the body nearby.
Until finding the gunshot wound, investigators thought Keith's death was a traffic fatality, Saunders said.
