PIKE COUNTY -- More than 48 hours after news broke of a mass murder in rural Pike County, community members are rallying to mourn the deaths of eight members of the Rhoden family.
Hard working, outgoing and loving were words used to describe the Rhoden family -- Dana, Christopher Sr., Gary, Hanna, Kenneth, Clarence "Frankie," Christopher Jr. Rhoden and Hannah Gilley were all shot execution-style in their homes early Friday morning.
Friends and neighbors of the Rhodens are showing support by wearing camouflage and orange.
Friends of the family gathered at Union Hill Church for a special 10 a.m. service for the slain family.
