A Warren County man was sentenced to life in prison Friday after being convicted of multiple sex crimes against a girl under the age of 8.
According to a news release from the office of Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell, 42-year-old Justin Fannin repeatedly raped the victim at his Clearcreek Township home.
He was convicted on three counts of rape and one of gross sexual imposition.
“I continue to be impressed by the bravery shown by these young child victims when they come into court — in front of jurors, prosecutors, audience members, and the defendants themselves — and tell their stories of the horrific things done to them,” Fornshell wrote in the news release.
Fannin will become eligible for parole in 2053.
