Cincinnati police arrest second suspect in Dec. 25 shooting involving 11-year-old

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police arrested a second man in connection with a Dec. 25 shooting that resulted in an 11-year-old girl being struck by a stray bullet.

Rockel Duke, 19 of West Price Hill, stands charged with felonious assault and is being held in the Hamilton County Jail on a $30,000 bond.

The shooting took place on Christmas Day at about 12:30 p.m. on Gilsey Avenue, one block west of Elder High School.

According to court documents, police had also arrested 18-year-old Brian Castro in relation to the shooting. Castro is being held in Hamilton County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Police are believed to be looking for three others who may have been involved.
