WARREN COUNTY, Ohio -- Both sides in the case of a Carlisle teen accused of killing her baby and then burying it in her backyard said they are ready to move forward with a trial.

During a brief hearing Monday in Warren County, prosecutors and defense attorneys for Brooke Skylar Richardson said they are ready to go to trial, according to WCPO media partner the Journal-News.

There have been some plea discussions, but no offer extended, Judge Donald Oda confirmed Monday.

Richardson, now 19, is charged with aggravated murder, involuntary manslaughter, gross abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and child endangering, for the May death of her infant daughter.
