CINCINNATI -- Police arrested a man accused of a stabbing during a dispute in a bar on Christmas.

Officers responded to a report of a fight at Montgomery Towne Tavern Monday. When they arrived, they found that a man had been stabbed, police said in court records.

Charles Williams, 46, stabbed the victim during an altercation after being told to leave, according to police.

Other bar patrons disarmed and detained Williams before the officers arrived, police said.

Details about the condition of the victim were not immediately available.

Williams, of Newport, Kentucky, is facing a charge of felonious assault.  He was due in court for arraignment Thursday morning.
