HIDDEN VALLEY, Ind. — After an employee of Willie's Sports Cafe in Hidden Valley tested positive for COVID-19, restaurant management announced in a post online that they would be temporarily closed starting on Thursday.
"While there are no established protocols for restaurants that are in this situation," the post said, "we have developed a mitigation plan for Willie's."
The plan includes hiring a cleaning specialist to disinfect all surfaces and areas of the restaurant, as well as asking all employees to be tested for COVID-19.
"Employees will need a negative COVID test before being allowed to return to work," the post said.
Restaurant management said they would reopen as soon as it was safe to do so. They stressed the importance of the health and safety of their employees and customers and they are sorry for this closure.
