FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — Health officials said they were informed of a 6th COVID-19 related death Wednesday.

A woman in her 70s was admitted into an Indiana hospital on Mar. 20 and later transferred to an Ohio hospital where she died.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of those lost to this terrible virus,” said Franklin County Commissioner Tom Linkel.

The total number of positive cases in Franklin County, Ind. is 44, including six new cases Wednesday.
