Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine distributed to medical facilities, departments across the Tri-State

Several medical facilities and heatlh departments around the Tri-State received shipments of the Moderna vaccine Tuesday, with plans to administer doses to frontline employees later in the week.

Cincinnati Children’s will start vaccinating employees on Wednesday and in upcoming weeks. They were delivered 4,100 doses.

The Cincinnati Health Department will vaccinate frontline workers in a clinic that will continue until Thursday morning. They got a delivery of 2,100 doses. The department is waiting on more information on when they will receive the next shipment, according to communications director Marla Fuller

Mercy Health will distribute the vaccine to employees at its five Cincinnati area locations starting tomorrow.

Premier Health and Atrium Medical Center will start vaccinations of the hospitals workers on Tuesday with the facility's 1,000 doses of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine.
