COVINGTON, Ky. — Coppin's Restaurant and Bar, located inside Hotel Covington, has temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for coronavirus, the hotel announced on social media Friday.

"Out of an abundance of caution, Coppin’s will be closed until we feel it safe for our employees and guests to return," their statement read.

Employees have been notified of the positive test, which the restaurant learned about on Friday. Those employees will remain at home and are encouraged to take a COVID-19 test.
