CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins wants to celebrate frontline workers this holiday season.
The Bengals player is asking for the public’s help in nominating an essential worker – health care workers, teachers, grocery store employees, restaurant employees, public servants, etc. — to receive a surprise from him the week of Thanksgiving.
Atkins and his wife, Kristen, have celebrated the “Atkins Week of Giving” around Christmas for the past two years, but this year, the family wants to celebrate people who have made a difference during the pandemic.
All nominations will be considered. Atkins will be surprising people next week.
