Bryan Price, who took over managing the beleaguered Cincinnati Reds after Dusty Baker was fired, was himself sacked today by the team.
The Reds have had their worst season opening since the Great Depression, and it was only a matter of time before Price, who has always seemed like a filler manager, was let go.
With Price gone, we assume that the Reds will soon find themselves in first place, sweep the World Series, win the Super Bowl and become the darlings of the 2019 Oscar season. EGOT, here they come.
