In the wake of Donald Trump firing James Comey as FBI director, many congressional Republicans, led by Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell, have made it clear where they stand.
McConnell doesn't see why any of us should make a fuss about why Comey, who was leading the FBI's investigation into potential ties between Russia and the Trump campaign, was fired by Trump.
Many have been calling for McConnell to put country before party. Maybe that's exactly what he's doing.
