For over 200 years, only white men were nominated and elected to be president of the United States, until Barack Obama broke that streak in 2008. Now a new milestone has been reached with the nomination of Hillary Clinton by the Democratic Party. As the saying goes, anyone can grow up to be president. That now feels truer than ever.
