CINCINNATI – WCPO 9 On Your Side will begin providing iHeartMedia radio stations in Cincinnati local weather forecasts and news features. The partnership begins early next week.

Chief Meteorologist Steve Raleigh and the 9 First Warning Weather team will provide forecasts seven days a week on these iHeart stations: WLW, WEBN, WKRC, WKFS, WCKY and WSAI. “We see this as a great opportunity to provide our 9 First Warning Weather to those listening to the area’s best radio stations,” said Jeff Brogan, vice president and general manager of WCPO.

In addition to providing weather forecasts, iHeartMedia radio listeners will hear Don’t Waste Your Money consumer reports from 9 On Your Side’s John Matarese. The partnership also includes occasional reports and interviews with WCPO journalists working on stories of public interest. “We are excited to partner with WCPO’s 9 First Warning Weather team to deliver the most accurate forecasts in the Tri-State to our listeners across all our platforms,” said DJ Hodge, iHeartMedia Market President.

The agreement also brings together the two media companies in shared promotional and community service campaigns benefiting events and organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area.
